Aisling Bea

Aisling B a was born on 16 March, 1984 in Kildare Ireland. She has been on QI alongside Stephen Fry. Aisling O'Sullivan, better than her stage name Aisling Bea (born on 16 March 1984), is an Irish actor, writer and comedian. Bea began her stand-up show in 2011, after appearing in small parts on several Irish television shows and British series since 2009. As early as 2012, Bea was appearing on sketch comedy shows or sitcoms. Following her award at the Edinburgh Comedy Awards in 2011, she began appearing on numerous panel shows, where she's becoming a mainstay. She's been part of 8 Out of 10 Cats since 2016, and she's one of the most popular contestants on the sister show 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. The actress is the child of Brian as well as Helen O'Sullivan. Sinead, her older sister was born. In 2012, she was the second woman ever to receive the So You Think You Are Funny Award. The surname she uses is Bea to honor her late father. Aisling Claiodhnadh Sullivan was born on the 16th of March, 1984 in Kildare, County Kildare. Bea's father Brian passed away at the age of three. He was an equine vet. Bea wasn't told the particulars of his death to death until she was 13 years old. Bea was her stage name. Bea was in tribute to her father. She published an opinion piece in The Guardian, published in 2017 on her journey of suicide. Bea (and her sister Sinead) were raised within the home of Helen Moloney, a teacher and jockey trainer who was also a professional jockey. The family was obsessed with racing meetings and horses. As a young girl, Bea employed as a tour guide at the Irish National Stud however she knew from a young age that she wasn't attracted to the race industry for a profession, but instead loved performing.
