Christina Hendricks has been an American actress for the past seven years. Her most famous role was as Joan Holloway, in AMC's Drama period show Mad Men. Her role on Mad Men that earned Christina Hendricks six Emmy Awards for her performance in the Best Supporting Actress category. The span of her career, which has spanned more than two decades, has included appearances in the comedy crime drama Tin Star as well as Kevin Hill's legal drama. For her work in movies her name has been praised by critics for Drive Ginger & Rosa Lost River Neon Demon Strangers: Prey in the Night Egg as well as American Woman. Her voice was used in animated films such as Toy Story 4, Scoob! and From Up on Poppy Hill. Her career began in modeling, and she continued to do it throughout her career until she made her debut acting on television in Undressed the 1999 television show. The drama comedy show Beggars and Choosers, her first major role was played. Then she received praise for her performance in Firefly. Esquire magazine ranked her as the most attractive woman on the planet in America in 2010 and declared one of the sexiest women on the planet.
